About the School

 

Fitzgerald's Martial Arts specializes in the powerful and traditional Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do and is Chicago’s first member school of the International Tang Soo Do Federation (ITF).

Tang Soo Do is a method of empty hand and foot fighting based on the scientific use of the body in self-defense. Training in Tang Soo Do stresses the development of individual character, integrity, and respect for others.

Students (men, women, and children) progress in rank according to a defined curriculum designed to maintain the high standards of traditional Tang Soo Do.
